How to connect Project V — one app, one button, any device
The subscription is issued in Telegram, your device needs a single app, and the settings travel into it automatically. There is nothing to type by hand.

[01] THE PRINCIPLE
One link, one app, one button
The sequence is identical on every operating system. Only the details of installing the app differ.
Project V is a VPN service that lives entirely inside Telegram: the subscription is issued, paid for and renewed in the bot @projectv2newbot, while a free client app does the work on your device.
A subscription is one long link with the servers, the protocol and the encryption keys already written into it. Online you will see it called a config, a key, a profile or a subscription URL — these are all the same thing. You never need to read or understand it: the bot has a button that opens the app and carries the subscription inside for you.
We do not build the apps. We use existing, well-tested ones, and they are free — your money pays for the servers your connection runs through, not for software. Which app you install depends on your plan, so if you have not chosen one yet, start with the plan comparison.

Install Happ (PRO plan) or AmneziaWG (LITE plan) using the instructions for your system below.
Step 3. Connection
Press the “add subscription” button in the bot, then switch the VPN on with one button in the app.
[02] HAPP AND AMNEZIAWG
Happ is for PRO, AmneziaWG is for LITE — and they are easy to mix up
The app is chosen by plan, not by preference: the two plans use different protocols and each protocol opens in its own program.
Happ (Happ Proxy Utility) is a free client that reads a Project V subscription on the PRO plan and maintains the connection over VLESS + Reality. The developer is Flyfrog. The icon is a black tile with a silver letter H cut by a diagonal slash. The subscription goes in with a single button from the bot.
AmneziaWG is the free app for the LITE plan, running the AmneziaWG protocol — WireGuard with obfuscation. The icon is a dark tile with a multicoloured angular letter W. Here the subscription is added not with a button but as a configuration file that the bot sends you.

Do not confuse them. AmneziaWG is not AmneziaVPN (a multicoloured letter A in a circle) and not WireGuard (a white dragon on a dark red background). The original WireGuard client will not open a Project V configuration: it does not understand the obfuscation parameters. App stores also carry Happ look-alikes from unrelated developers — install only from the links on this page and in the bot, and check the developer name: Flyfrog for Happ, Privacy Technologies or AMNEZIA for AmneziaWG.

iPhone and iPad: install Happ, then one button
Happ is not always present in every App Store storefront — at times it has been removed from the Russian one, so pick whichever route below applies to you. The App Store listing you want is Happ - Proxy Utility by Flyfrog.
1. Install the app
If your Apple ID region is outside Russia, open apps.apple.com/us/app/happ-pro…504287215 and install it. If not, use TestFlight: install TestFlight from your own storefront, then open testflight.apple.com/join/XMls6Ckd and press Accept.
2. Allow the VPN
On the first connection iOS asks permission to add a VPN configuration. Tap Allow and confirm with your passcode or Face ID. Without this the app opens but never connects.
3. Add the subscription
Press the “add subscription” button in the Project V bot. iOS offers to open Happ and the subscription loads by itself. If nothing happens, copy the link, open Happ, press “+” in the top right corner and choose Clipboard.
4. Pick a server
Tap a row in the server list under the power button; a marker appears on the left.
5. Connect
Press the big round button in the middle. The status changes to Connected, a timer starts and a VPN badge appears in the status bar.
6. Check
Settings → General → VPN & Device Management should now list Happ.
Only one VPN profile can be active on iOS at a time. If the VPN connects but nothing loads, turn off other VPN clients — including ad blockers that work through a local VPN.
[04] ANDROID 5.0+
Android: Google Play or the APK, then the same one button
1. Install the app
From Google Play: play.google.com/store/apps/det…happproxy (developer FLYFROG LTD). If Play is unavailable, download the APK from github.com/Happ-proxy/happ-and…/Happ.apk and allow installation from unknown sources for your browser or file manager first.
2. Pick one source and stay with it
The Play build and the GitHub build are different packages. Installing both leaves you with two copies of Happ on the device and Android asking which one should open the subscription link.
3. Add the subscription
Press the button in the bot; Android opens Happ and the subscription is added. Fallbacks: copy the link and use “+” → Clipboard, or “+” → QR code.
4. Allow the VPN
On the first connection Android shows a connection request dialog for creating a VPN connection. Confirm it.
5. Pick a server and connect
Tap a server row, then the round power button.
6. Keep it alive in the background
Settings → Apps → Happ → Battery → Unrestricted. Battery optimisation is the usual reason a tunnel drops while your screen is off.
If the system refuses to add a VPN profile, open the system VPN settings and turn off “Always-on VPN” and “Block connections without VPN” for any other VPN apps. That restriction blocks new profiles from other clients.
[05] WINDOWS 10 (1809+) AND 11
Windows: an installer, the subscription button and a tray icon
1. Download the installer

2. Run it and accept the UAC prompt
The installer sets up a system service and a TUN adapter, so it needs administrator rights.
3. Add the subscription
Press the button in the bot; your browser asks permission to open Happ. Alternatively use “+” → paste from clipboard.
4. Pick a server and connect
Select a server in the list, then press the power button.
5. Choose a transport mode if needed
Recent versions offer Proxy, TUN or both. TUN is the “just make everything work” option, since it routes the whole system rather than only browser traffic.
Windows 7 and 8 are not supported by current builds. If Happ will not start at all, that is usually a graphics driver issue — recent versions accept a command-line switch to change the rendering backend.
[06] macOS 13+
macOS: the .dmg is the reliable route
1. Download
github.com/Happ-proxy/happ-des…ersal.dmg — one universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel, with no dependency on which App Store storefront your Apple ID uses. On macOS 15 and newer you can also install from the App Store listing linked in the iPhone section.
2. Install
Open the .dmg and drag Happ into Applications.
3. First launch
Right-click the app icon and choose Open, then confirm. This is the standard way past Gatekeeper on a first run.
4. Let it install its helper
The app asks for an administrator password so it can install its system daemon. Current versions need this once.
5. Add the subscription and connect
Use the button from the bot, or “+” → paste from clipboard. Allow the VPN configuration if macOS asks, pick a server and press the power button.
[07] LITE · AMNEZIAWG
The LITE plan: a file rather than a button
AmneziaWG has no subscription mechanism and no deep link, so the one-button flow does not exist there. You import a configuration file, and each location is its own file.

iPhone and iPad
Save the .conf file from Telegram into Files, then in the app choose Add Tunnel → Create from file or archive and select it. Flip the switch next to the tunnel name and allow the VPN configuration.
Android
Save the .conf file to the device first: the app does not appear in the “Open with” menu, because it registers no file handler. Then press “+” → Import from file or archive and find the file in Downloads.
Windows
Install the .msi that matches your architecture, open AmneziaWG, choose Import tunnels from file, select the .conf and press Connect.
macOS
Install from the App Store, choose Import tunnels from file, select the .conf and enable it in the list.
Two warnings that save support tickets. First: on Windows, do not use the app’s built-in “Update Now” button — a known open bug installs plain WireGuard over it, and plain WireGuard cannot read obfuscated configurations. Update manually from GitHub instead. Second: the same .conf file cannot run on several devices at once — the connection then fails on all of them. For the three-device allowance, ask the bot for three separate files.

The five checks that solve almost everything
Refresh the subscription
The refresh icon on the subscription card in Happ. Servers rotate; your app may simply be holding an old list.
Check the clock
Turn on automatic date and time. Reality verifies the moment of connection, and a drifting clock produces a silent failure to connect.
Switch location
Poland and the Netherlands are both already in your subscription. Sometimes one tap is the whole fix.
Make sure only one VPN is running
Two VPN clients, or a local-VPN ad blocker, will fight over the tunnel.
Try the other network
If it works on Wi-Fi but not on mobile data, that is a filtering symptom rather than a broken installation, and it is exactly the case whitelist bypass on PRO is built for.

Setup questions in brief
01 How long does setup take?
A couple of minutes on any device: roughly a minute to install the app and less than a minute to add the subscription and connect.
02 Is the app paid?
No, both Happ and AmneziaWG are free. The Project V subscription costs ₽50 a month on LITE and ₽100 on PRO, with the first two weeks free.
03 Do I need a computer to set up a phone?
No. Everything is done on the device itself, from Telegram.
04 What is a subscription and where do I get it?
It is a link containing your settings, issued by the bot @projectv2newbot as soon as the trial starts.
05 How many devices does one subscription cover?
Three at once — for example a phone, a laptop and a tablet. Traffic is shared: 500 GB across the whole subscription.
06 Which app do I need?

07 The download link does not open.
Store availability for these apps changes from time to time. Ask @pvsupp for the current link rather than searching the store by name, because look-alike apps rank well in search results.

If you want the short answer
Connecting to Project V takes three actions: get a subscription from the Telegram bot @projectv2newbot, install a client app, and add the subscription to the app with one button. On any device this takes a couple of minutes; no separate registration, website dashboard or manual entry of settings is required.
A Project V subscription is a link containing server addresses, the protocol and encryption keys. Users and guides also call it a config, a key or a profile — these mean the same thing. The subscription is added to the app by pressing a button in the bot, by pasting the link from the clipboard, or by scanning a QR code.
The Project V PRO plan (₽100 per month, VLESS + Reality protocol) opens in the Happ app. The LITE plan (₽50 per month, AmneziaWG protocol) opens in the AmneziaWG app. Both apps are free and are developed by third parties: Happ by Flyfrog, AmneziaWG by the Amnezia team. The AmneziaWG app should not be confused with AmneziaVPN or with the original WireGuard client: WireGuard does not support obfuscation parameters and will not open a LITE configuration.
One Project V subscription works on three devices simultaneously and includes 500 GB of traffic shared across all of them. Available locations are Poland and the Netherlands. Setup instructions cover iPhone and iPad, Android, Windows and macOS.
